She was deported by transport from Westerbork, arriving at Sobibor on April 9, 1943. Her parents Eleazar and Sophie Hokkes and the brothers Simon and Isaac Hokkes died in Sobibor in 1943. She fled the camp during the uprising on October 14, 1943. She joined the partisan detachment. She died of typhus in the Parczew forests near Lublin after the liberation of Eastern Poland.
